COLOUR SCHEMES #1

Firstly, I'm so sorry for not being active around here lately. I've been really busy with Uni stuff and I'm sort of in a blogging rut lately- it's terrible. Anyway, today I have something a little different- I don't know exactly what to call these other than book colour schemes or something ridiculous like 'ooooh, pretty colour things'. These are on Tumblr all the time so I thought I'd give them a go and as it turns out...I LOVE THEM. They're way more addictive than I thought they would be! Anyway, let's just skip the part where I ramble and get onto the actual images.

I mean, how was I supposed to resist getting the chance to stare at James Mycroft?

I wanted to see the difference in colours between these two, and I love it.

Did you actually think we make it through a post on this blog without mentioning Ignite Me at least once?

I love this colour scheme almost as much as I love this book (which a lot, seriously, I love this book A LOT.)

And the one that started it all. I used the back cover as well because...that dress. *dies*

That was it! I hope you guys liked the post and let me know if you'd like to see more like this in the future.

  1. This is a really cool feature idea! It's interesting to see the colours brought out of a book cover, and some of them are just so pretty :)

  2. Ooh, these are so fun! I've thought about doing this before - maybe I could join you one time if you continue to do these? :) Heir of Fire is beautiful. They all are really. I just love the detail Bloomsbury puts into those covers.

Oh, and Mycroft, my love. I've actually thought about somehow tracking down that cover model several times...but that's not creepy and stalkerish at all...

That's not creepy or stalkerish...or maybe it is, but you're definitely not alone in that.

  3. This is soooo cool! I've seen a blog do this once somewhere long long ago, but seriously MORE. I love the colour scheme of Heir of Fire. Actually I love ALL the ones for the ToG books, and each time a new cover comes out I get a new favourite. How is Celeana so terrifically kick-butt and gorgeous?!! HOW.

  4. I've already made enough for about another three posts, and that was only this morning! Let's not start with Heir of Fire, because I will not stop - it's too perfect. I ask myself that every day. She is slowly killing me with badassness and beautiful clothes.
