Yes, I've decided to participate in Bout of Books yet again! I've done about five or six of these in the past and I've always enjoyed them so I couldn't pass this one up. Here's a little tentative TBR...

Yes I am participating in Bout of Books again! I don't know what I'll be reading yet, but I'll let you guys know when it gets closer to the date. Also, I'm going to be a 2015 expert so I'll hopefully being visiting a lot of you throughout the readathon!

Bout of Books 10.0 Update Days 4 & 5

Can I just start this post off by saying that my original goal for this read-a-thon was four books? I've now read 6 books and have started a 7th. THIS IS MADNESS.

Anyway, Wednesday night, I did end up finishing Half Bad and I also started Jane Eyre of which I read 92 pages. My original goal was to read up to page 50 of Jane Eyre, so this really surprised me. I ended up reading a staggering 866 pages on Wednesday.

Now, onto the actual update! Yesterday, I continued and finished Jane Eyre. I read the 374 pages that I had left. I didn't start any other books.

Today. Well. I started off this morning with Reboot by Amy Tintera, and I read all 384 pages of that. Then I read Tales from the Secret Annexe by Anne Frank, so that's another 144 pages. That's 528 pages so far. I've also started Jamaica Inn by Daphne Du Maurier. I'm only 38 pages in at the moment, but I'm hoping to read to at least page 100 tonight.

As for tomorrow, I hope I can finish Jamaica Inn. Then, I'd like to start Elantris by Brandon Sanderson. At 615 pages, I don't imagine I'll finish it by the end of the read-a-thon but I'd at least like to start it, but we shall see!

Bout of Books 10.0 Update Day 3

This is my first update for Bout of Books, I'll be doing another one on Friday and then a final wrap-up on Sunday. So I did absolutely no reading on Monday...

On Tuesday,
I read 37 pages on Eon, so I'm now on page 149.
I also read the first 103 pages of Tamar by Mal Peet (which wasn't originally on my TBR).
So I read a total of 140 pages.

But today!
Well, it's been a good day so far.
I finished the last 333 pages of Tamar.
I read all 57 pages of Metamorphosis.
Currently, I've read the first 243 pages of Half Bad, but I think I'll probably finish it tonight.
Countingonly up to page 243 of Half Bad, I've read 633 pages so far today.

I've got one class on tomorrow at Uni in the morning, so I'm hoping to spend most of the day reading after that. It takes me an hour and a half to get home so I'll be doing some reading on the train. The only two books left on my original TBR are Eon and Jane Eyre. I've managed to re-borrow Eon from the library so I think that's going to be put on the backburner, also my copy of Jane Eyre is too heavy to carry around with me so I'll be reading something else tomorrow.

I've got a few books in mind, it might be Reboot by Amy Tintera, Jamaica Inn by Daphne Du Maurier or Crewel by Gennifer Albin, but we shall see! 

Bout of Books 10.0 Sign Up/TBR

So the first day of Bout of Books is pretty much over for me, but I decided that I was going to participate. I wasn't planning on participating at all this time around because I've got a quite busy week ahead of me, but I literally just changed me mind.

Since I've got a busy week, I'm only picking out a few books and then I'll see where I go from there. So, my goals are...

1. Finish Eon by Alison Goodman (about 100 pages in)
2. Read Half Bad by Sally Green
3. Read Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka (for class)
4. Start Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (and read at least 50 pages)

So that's it. I'm sorry this post is so badly formatted, I wrote it in about two minutes. I'll do a nice little update on Wednesday...until then.

Bout of Books Day 2 & 3 Updates

I got to a roaring start for the read-a-thon on Day 1. I finished two books - Legend and Sea of Monsters. Day 2 went just as well!

Day 2- Tuesday the 7th:
Number of pages read today: 714
Number of books finished today: 2 - Grave Mercy and These Broken Stars. GM was amazing, TBS- COULD NOT BREATHE.
Total number of pages read: 1284
Total number of books finished: 4

I sort of broken my rules a bit for today. The book I read hadn't original been on my TBR but my mum surprised me with movie tickets for the next day, so I was determined to read it. 

Day 3 - Wednesday the 8th:
Number of pages read today: 608 (113 pages of Angelfall)
Number of books finished today: 1 - The Book Thief- so many feels!
Total number of pages read: 1892
Total number of books finished: 5

Planning on finishing Angefall very soon, before starting The Horse and His Boy. I'm almost at my goal for six books finished!

Bout of Books: Book Buying Spree Challenge

One of the challenges for Bout of Books today was the Book Buying Spree Challenge held over at Bookish Comforts. The challenge is to fit as many books into your Book Depository basket as you can for under $100 (US). So, I managed to fit in ten books that are all on the top of my wishlist at the moment.

Bout of Books 9.0 Goals + Updates

So last year (God, it feels weird to type that), I decided I was going to participate in Bout of Books 9.0 which is running from the 6th to the 12th this month. This is my third time doing the read-a-thon and so I'm being a bit more ambitious with my goals.

I've decided to participate in the Bout of Books read-a-thon 9.0 in January! This'll be my third go at the read-a-thon, and I'm incredibly excited to be doing it again. As it gets closer to the starting date, I'll post my goals and the books I aim to read within the week. See you then!

As I assumed, I didn't get to read much at all today. I progressed a little further with Beowulf during class and I also started Happily Never After. I'm going to have more time on my hands tomorrow so I'm hoping to finish The Gatekeeper's Daughter and move on with the others.

 Today was my slowest day so far. I managed to finish Ink and start The Gatekeeper's Daughter as I hoped but I ran out of time to read as the day went on. Tomorrow is probably going to be just as busy but as I have Literature I'll be reading more of Beowulf.
