The Last Witch is the first book from the
Incenaga series by author Debbie Dee. I read this book in one night because I loved
it so much. Normally, I don’t read books about Witches but I do read about
fantasy, and so it was interesting to see the aspect that Debbie would take in
writing this story. Debbie had a way of writing, which just captured you and
spat you back out. There were action scenes but there were also scenes that
just described everything beautifully. The Storyline was riveting but sometimes
I just got annoyed at Emmeline and the way she acted. Overall, it was an
excellent read.

Usually I don’t read witchy/fantasy books
but despite this, I found myself really enjoying this book. The storyline was
different and interesting, I found myself being sucked into the world of
Emmeline and feeling exactly what she was. I didn’t ever find myself bored with
the book- something really rare for me when it comes to fantasy novels. I
absolutely loved the ending, and I was completely surprised by the little twist
at the end. Definitely going to recommend this to all of my friends and I can’t
wait for the sequel!
Debbie Dee recently moved to southern Idaho
with her husband and three children where she is learning how to be a country
girl in her favorite pair of blue heels. She adores fairy tales and happy
endings, but secretly crushes on the bad guy now and then. As a dedicated
musician who practices way too much, she never expected writing would sweep her
off her feet until she jotted down a scene from a daydream, which turned into
two scenes, which turned into a messy house and her first novel. Since then she
hasn’t been able to let a day go by without writing. Her website is
