Greed - What is your most inexpensive book?
E – I don’t really get books as gifts anymore because I own
so many that people can’t pick. That being said, Chami (very wonderfully) gave
me her own copy of Scarlet by Marissa Meyer earlier this year. (I say ‘gave’, I
kind of stole it off her shelf)
C – She grabbed it and ran, folks. Still haven’t seen her
since then. Ely will never learn, gosh! I’m kidding. I think I bought Across
the Universe by Beth Revis for $4 once. It is the greatest highlight of my book
buying career.
Wrath – What author do you have a love/hate relationship
with?
E – This is actually harder than I thought it would be. I’ve
got a few authors that I hate, but I don’t know if I have any that I both love
and hate at the same time?
C- I can definitely say that Cassandra Clare was once upon a time one of those authors. Also, like Ely, I don’t think I have one now that is like that.
Gluttony – What book have you devoured over and over again
with no shame?
E – I don’t usually re-read books more than once, but I
think my most read book would probably be Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling.
(I really, really, really adore Sirius Black)
C- This is an easy one. I have read the Vampire Academy
(specifically Shadow Kiss) by Richelle Mead and the Shatter Me series by
Taherah Mafi about a billion times.
Sloth – What book have you neglected reading due to
laziness?
E - Like every book on my bookshelf? I suppose, at the
moment, I’m feeling awfully lazy for having not read Wives and Daughters by
Elizabeth Gaskell. I know it’s going to be amazing like North and South was,
but yes, laziness.
C- Can I just say that I literally forgot that this Tag was
based on the sins and I spent five minutes contemplating why Ely didn’t tell me
that she had replaced me with a sloth as a co-blogger. Okay, now to answer the
question. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor! I always borrow it but I
never read it because of all the things I’ve heard saying that it takes time to
get into it. I need to read it but I’m not ready for that commitment!
Pride – What book do you most talk about in order to sound
like an intellectual reader?
E – I don’t know if I actually do this. The only person I
really talk about books with is Chami and we just spend all of our time crying over
the Shatter Me series.
C- There was that one time I read Macbeth. I loved it
though. But really, Ely’s answer describes everything. Doesn’t it always?
Lust – What attributes do you find attractive in male or
female characters.
E – Well for females, just basically be a copy of Chami and
I. Awkward, weird, intelligent, sassy and mentally strong. As for males- I find
Sirius, Augustus, James Mycroft and Warner attractive so, you know, GO BE THEM!
C – Can I just highlight Ely’s smoothness? This ain’t tumblr
but damn, you can spot a tumblr person straight in Ely. Gurl you smooth. For
females: What Ely said. For males: There is no other than Warner
Envy – What book would you most like to receive as a gift?
E - EVERY BOOK EVER. Okay, so actually- I don’t have
anything I’m particularly desperate for at the moment except for this beautiful
edition of Jane Eyre to join the copy I already have.
(I often feel like Spike whenever I put myself under a book buying ban)
C – IGNITE ME. I was deprived of a hard copy and my heart
beats for it even though I have read it on ebook a billion times.
That's it! Okay, as for people we are going to tag - we're terrible at remembering who has done what tags so we apologise if you've already done this!

Oh. My. Good. Lord. I legit just wrote this amazing comment, but wasn't signed in for some weird reason so it didn't post. :''''(
ReplyDeleteI HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS. :D Also, first things first, SPIKE GIF, SPIKE GIF, SPIKE GIF. <3 <3 <3 <3 Spike is life.
Ely: Uhhh. I really need to read Elizabeth Gaskell. I'm so lazy with classics though :(
Sirius <3 and just HP in general...
Augustus and Mycroft. <3 <3 <3
Chami: Ooh, Cassandra Clare! I can definitely say that I have a love/hate relationship with her.
Okay, if they are worthy of re-reads, I definitely have to get my butt into gear and finish the VA series and the Shatter Me trilogy sooner rather than later!!
I was literally the exact same with DoSaB! However, after 3 years (or however long it's been published for), I've finally read it!
WOO ANOTHER TAG. I'll leave this later so I can spread it out.
ReplyDeleteBUT YEAH. Chami go read Daughter of Smoke & Bone already, and if you guys think the Shatter Me series is awesome, then I probably should get started on it. I mean, the first book is on my shelf now :P
